INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — In an effort to avoid service interruptions, Waste Management is encouraging residents in unincorporated Indian River County and the City of Fellsmere to pay their balance to prevent service cancellations. Starting Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, Waste Management will begin retrieving garbage carts of residential curbside customers whose account is past due.
Residents can contact Waste Management’s Customer Service Department at (772) 569-1776 or visit https://www.wm.com/myaccount/ to pay past due balances. Once the balance is paid in full, Waste Management will return the garbage cart to the residence and provide service on the next regularly scheduled service day.
Indian River County has five Customer Convenience Centers located in Fellsmere, Roseland, Winter Beach, Gifford and South of Vero Beach where residents can drop off garbage. For more information, visit http://www.ircrecycles.com/Convenience_Centers.htm.
