Loreley Paul, 76, of Sebastian passed away on Sept. 25, 2016.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda M Roberts of Sebastian and Robyn J Roberts of Minneapolis, Minn.; her two granddaughters, Corine and Erin; her sister Judith L Leach (Timothy); and brother Robin Shepherd (Suzette).
She was predeceased by her son, Scott E. Roberts and her brother Ronald Shepherd.
Paul had a passion for life and people. She was in perpetual motion and did not have time to be burdened with sickness. It is in this same spirit that we call to remembrance the celebration of her life.
She was born to the late Wilbur and Dorothy Shepherd on July 1, 1940, in Minneapolis, Minn., and graduated from Columbia Heights High School in 1958. She had three beautiful children and two wonderful grandchildren that brought joy to her life.
Paul loved to travel and many were instantly attracted to her fun-loving spirit and outgoing personality. She was a strong, independent woman who loved to have a good time, but didn’t shy away from hard work. It was important for her to help others in need – from simply being there as a shoulder to cry on, to opening her home for those that were in transition and needed a place to stay. Her generous influence and example are a legacy to those she leaves behind and she will be greatly missed as a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Her internment will be held in Minneapolis, Minn. and will be determined at a later date.
