Albina A. St. Gelais, 92, Sebastian

Albina A. “Honey” St. Gelais, 92, of Sebastian, passed away on Sept. 22, 2016.

She is survived by her children Ronald St. Gelais (Francis) of Eaton Center, N.H., Lorraine Ryan (Edward) of Sebastian, and Debra Richard (Mark) of Sebastian; eight grandchildren, Matthew Richard, Jeffrey Richard, Mark Richard II (hence where the name Honey came from) Donna Joshi, Joanne St.Gelais, Karen Dugal, Ronnie St.Gelais and Kevin St.Gelais; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and her sister Jeannette Lebeau, of Acushnet, Mass.

St. Gelais was born to the late Pierre and Albina Pelletier on Dec. 13, 1923, in New Bedford, Mass. She married the late WWII Army Major Joseph Ronald St.Gelais in 1943, and they lived together in Acushnet, Mass. She later moved to Florida to be near her daughters.

A visitation will be held on Sept. 27, 2016, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Seawinds Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Seawinds Funeral Home. A private burial will take place in Massachusetts at a later date to unite her with her late husband.
