INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The body discovered Sept. 10 near the Wal-Mart in Vero Beach has been identified.
The highly decomposed body was found in the woods near the Wal-Mart on State Road 60 Saturday, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office. She was identified as Tisa Lynn McCann, 44, of Melbourne.
McCann was discovered after a Wal-Mart truck driver detected an overwhelming smell when they were making a delivery, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office. The store is located in the 5500 block of SR 60.
No signs of foul play have been reported and no cause of death could be determined because of the state the body was found in, according to authorities. Officials are still waiting on a toxicology report.
