Impact 100 invites non-profits to informational grant meeting Sept. 13

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The 2016-17 Impact 100 year has officially begun. The first step to Impact 100 awarding $100,000 grants is to explain the grant and application process to non-profits serving Indian River County.

The Non-Profit Information Session (NPIS) is scheduled for Sept. 13, 2016 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Northern Trust’s Community Room, 755 Beachland Boulevard, Vero Beach.

This Information Session will provide potential grant applicants with resources to help them submit their grant. The Grant Committee will explain the requirements for applying for a grant, how to fill out the grant application and what financial documentation you need to provide. A previous non-profit grant recipient will share what the process was like for them and answer questions.

All non-profit organizations serving Indian River County residents are invited to attend.

NPIS Chair Brenda Cetrulo, says, “We are excited to kick off the 2016-17 Impact 100 year by meeting and sharing our grants process with local non-profits. A transformational grant project is a unique opportunity for non-profits to make an impact on the community in a distinct way from traditional, transactional grants. The Non-Profit Information Session is Impact 100’s chance to empower the potential grant applicant to submit a grant that meets our rigorous requirements.”
