Carol Ann Javins, 83, of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 28, 2016, her 64th wedding anniversary to the late Alfred Javins.
She is survived by her daughter Jacquelyn Gilbert and son-in-law Robert Gilbert; grandson Gregory Gilbert; brother Duane Burkholder (Shirley); sister Terry Sue White and John; Angel McCall, Frank Moshier, Terri Blair, Frank Moshier Jr, Diane Tyson, and other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Javins was born April 14, 1933, in Willoughby, Ohio to the late Howard Burkholder and V. Audrey Burkholder.
She attended the Allegheny College and Ohio University and was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority.
Javins married the love of her life, Alfred Javins, in 1952. To this union one daughter was born, Jacquelyn.
Her careers included piano teacher, dance instructor and bank teller. Volunteer activities included National Women’s Club, Girl Scouts, Humane Societies, Hospital Auxiliaries, and Juvenile Conference Committee.
