Harld Davis “Hal” Kettles Jr., of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 16, 2016, with his family at his side after a long and bravely fought battle with cancer.
He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his loving mother Marge Kettles; son Trevor (Tara) Kettles; grandchildren TJ, Tori, Tate and Tenley; brother Doug (Colleen) Kettles; and nieces Erin, Meghan, Holly, and Christina.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold Kettles Sr. and sister Karen Kuring.
Kettles was a longtime resident of Vero Beach and employee at Piper Aircraft before relocating to North Georgia nine years ago.
By his own words, he was a simple man, and he enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the Blue Ridge Mountains. He was also a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
A celebration of his life will be held in the coming months while his ashes are scattered over the waters on the Treasure Coast where he loved to fish.
