Edward Karl Zack, 72, of Fellsmere, passed away on Aug. 19, 2016, at his residence following an extended illness.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Regina Zack, of High Springs, Fla.; three daughters, Susan Jursik, Maryellen Bell (Arthur) each of Fellsmere; and Laura Zack Price (Bill) High Springs, Fla.; one brother, William Zack of Straford, Conn.; sister Emily Sokoloski (William) of Straford, Conn.; and five grandchildren: AJ (Ainsley) and David (Suzanna) Bell; Tori, Talon, and Tyler Jursik. He is also survived by his faithful dog Buddy.
Zack was the son of the late William Fredrick and Agnes Elizabeth Emmanuelson Zack. He was of the Lutheran faith and served in the United States Marines. He made High Springs his home for the past 16 years after moving from Fellsmere.
He was a member of the American Legion, and enjoyed his farm, loving and rescuing animals, he also enjoyed college football, and NFL football always pulling for whoever was playing the New England Patriots.
