Betty Anderson, 96, of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 19, 2016.
She is survived by her son Jim Anderson; daughter Evelyn Lepire; grandchildren Beth Fleming, Michael Lepire, and Eric Anderson; and great-grandchildren Colin Anderson, Ewan and Grace Fleming.
Anderson was born June 18, 1920, in Cleveland, ohio, to the late Ott and Antoinette Mesch. She grew up in Ohio before her move to Miami Springs. In 1999, she became a permanent resident of Vero Beach.
She enjoyed traveling. After marrying her husband, they were able to travel all over the world. Some of her favorite destinations included Switzerland and Germany.
Anderson was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and a volunteer at Harbor Branch and the Vero Beach Museum of Art.
