INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Every three years the school district must re-draft its English Language Learner Plan and submit it to the Department of Education for approval.
The Indian River County School Board approved the latest plan on Tuesday, with no discussion and with no presentation by school staff.
According to staff, there are 668 elementary, 139 middle school and 90 high school students who are English Language Learners.
