Waste Management to stop services on past due accounts

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Starting the week of Aug. 15, 2016, Waste Management will not be providing curbside garbage collection service to residences that have accounts past due.

In an effort to avoid service interruptions or cancellations, Waste Management is encouraging residents in unincorporated Indian River County and the City of Fellsmere to pay any overdue balance.

Residents can contact Waste Management’s Customer Service Department at (772) 569-1776 or visit https://www.wm.com/myaccount/ to pay past due balances. Once the balance is paid in full, Waste Management will resume curbside garbage collection on the resident’s next regularly scheduled garbage collection service day.

Indian River County has five Customer Convenience Centers located in Fellsmere, Roseland, Winter Beach, Gifford and South of Vero Beach where residents can drop off garbage. For more information, visit http://www.ircrecycles.com/Convenience_Centers.htm.
