INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Buggy Bunch is holding its “Pies For A Purpose” Kick-off Party, at 6 p.m. Aug. 23. Fifty of the area’s well-known culinary businesses are gearing up to donate hundreds of apple, pumpkin, and pecan pies.
Volunteers will sell these pies to members of the community for $28. These delicious pies will grace the tables of local families Thanksgiving week.
Indian River County charitable partners include Epic Missions, Hibiscus Children’s Center, The Hope for Families Center, Samaritan Center, The Source, United Against Poverty, Camp Haven, and of course The Buggy Bunch.
The event will take place at Grind +Grape in Vero Beach.
The Buggy Bunch is a non-profit involving churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals supporting moms and families across the Treasure Coast. All moms are welcome regardless of background, beliefs, and socioeconomic status. Membership is free to all moms.
The Buggy Bunch is dedicated to meeting the urgent needs of moms in Indian River County, as well as to gather for fun, fellowship, and fitness. Through our relationships and programs, we want to bring one another into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, ultimately preparing and equipping moms for personal involvement in outreach and discipleship.
