HarborChase hosts carnival to benfit Alzheimer’s Association Aug. 26

VERO BEACH — HarborChase of Vero Beach, a local assisted living and memory care community, is hosting “Carnival for a Cause” on Friday, Aug. 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public with 100 percent of the proceeds to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. HarborChase is managed by Harbor Retirement Associates (HRA), a regional senior living development and management company based in Vero Beach.

“We’d like to invite families from across Vero Beach to step right up and enjoy this fun event,” said Steven McLaurin, Sales Manager of HarborChase of Vero Beach. “It’s going to be a good time for a fantastic cause. It’s a good opportunity to experience the fun our residents will have every day at HarborChase.”

The special event is for all ages and will feature a dunk tank, corn hole, ring toss, balloon pop and a variety of carnival games. Concessions available to include popcorn, hot dogs, caramel apples, pretzels and other carnival food. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
