INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Staying indoors during Florida’s steamy summers is usually a good idea. Join Day Trippin’ with Patti & Vicky LLC when they lead a tour on Aug. 27 that will provide entertainment, good food and transportation, as well as the choice of staying cool and comfortable.
Saturday Aug. 27, day trippers will travel via Mercedes Van to Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales for its popular and sold out summer concert series: LIVE at the Gardens featuring the Lift Irish Band who will entertain audiences with a diversity of Irish, Scottish and Celtic tunes.
Day Trippin’ has purchased a block of tickets and there are only some remain. Prior to the concert, day trippers will dine at the Blue Palmetto Cafe at Bok Tower where they will have a choice of two traditional Irish/British meals.
The van will depart at 3 p.m. from the IHOP Restaurant parking lot located on State Road 60 in West Vero Beach. An early arrival at Bok Tower will give day trippers a chance to walk through the gardens and visit Bok Tower’s popular gift shop.
Cost is $105 and includes transportation, admission to Bok Tower Gardens and Live Concert and dinner at the Blue Palmetto Cafe. A cash bar will be available during the concert. Tickets are on a first come-first serve basis.
