Roy J. Parian, 90, of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 3, 2016, at the Indian River Medical Center.
He is survived by his sons Roy J. Parian, Jr. of Woodland Park, N.J., Craig Parian of Ann Arbor, Mich., Glenn Parian of Ringwood, N.J., and Keith Parian of Butler, N.J.; fiance Janee Morchesky of Vero Beach; grandchildren Katie, Miranda, Krystin, Rhea, Mahra, Lauren, Kim and Erik; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley M. Parian.
Parian was born in Passaic, N.J., and moved to Vero Beach in 1998 from Key Colony Beach, Fla., after having previously resided in Clifton and Wayne, N.J.
He and his father had owned John Parian & Son which he later changed to Parian & Sons providing an opportunity for his sons to become part of the firm. The store was originally located in Clifton before relocating to Franklin Lakes, N.J.
Parian was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Army. He was a Mason, Shriner, member of the Royal Order of Jesters and Lions Club in Clifton. He was an avid fisherman and boat owner.
