Marjorie Day, 85, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 22, 2016, in the home of her daughter in Winter Garden, Fla. She was a third generation native of Vero Beach.
She is survived by two daughters, Laura D. Kenyon (Reap), and Sharon D. Sherman, son-in-law Paul Sherman; grandchildren Lauren Landis (Mike), Aaron Kenyon (Ashley), Daniel Kenyon (Hayley), Michelle Sherman, and Spencer Sherman; great-granddaughter Adelyn Kenyon; sisters Jeannette Schacht and Blanche Owen; eight nephews and two nieces.
Day was employed with the School District of Indian River County for more than 30 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Florida Retired Educators Association.
A Memorial Service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 1750 20th St., Vero Beach, 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2016 with a reception following.
