Charles Edward Burnett, 82, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 21, 2016.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Burnett, nephew John and nieces Adrianne and Carolyn.
Burnett was born in Queens, N.Y., in 1934, to William and Ellie Burnett. He joined the Air Force in 1951. Charles “Charlie” retired from the Bakery’s Delivery Union local 550. He was always singing or whistling which pinned him with the nickname “Whistler.”
At his request there will not be a memorial service.
