VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Art Club will be hosting a Pirate Art Show on Saturday, July 30 on Royal Palm Point (Rum Point) in conjunction with the Pirate Fest.
Each year, on the anniversary of the fateful voyage, Pirates, Privateers and Treasure Hunters of all ages gather to commemorate the loss of the 1715 Treasure Fleet in a family friendly celebration of piracy, better known as the Vero Beach Pirate Festival. The festival is being held July 29 through 31.
The Vero Beach Art Club’s July 30, “Pirate Art Show” will include Jewelry (treasure), ceramic pots (booty), and paintings with a Treasure Coast theme. Show hours will be Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
