The Education Foundation will again be accepting charitable donations to provide backpacks to the local Indian River County public schools. In addition, Publix will be providing school supplies. The backpacks and school supplies will be delivered to the schools. Each school determines the best way to distribute supplies to children in need.

The Education Foundation encourages community members, local businesses and services clubs to help in one of two ways:

1. Make a charitable donation to the Education Foundation of Indian River County. A gift of $20 provides a backpack to a student (on-line: www.edfoundationirc.org or P.O. Box 7046, Vero Beach, FL 32961)

2. Adopt a local school. For more information: Call (772) 564-0034 or email: Mary@edfoundationirc.org.

For parents seeking support, please call your child’s school for more information. The complete list of school phone numbers can be found at www.indianriverschools.org.
