Vero Beach celebrated Independence Day with a Fourth of July Music and Fireworks Extravaganza, sponsored by the City of Vero Beach and 93.7 WGYL.
As a gift to the community, the radio station livened up the afternoon activities with concerts featuring up-and-coming national recording artists Gregory Darling, Jolivi, Genevieve, The Rua and Alx Kawakami.
Sporting red, white and blue, families staked out their favorite spots in the late afternoon to enjoy the concerts, food and children’s activities before the main event – the ear-splitting bursts of color lighting up the evening sky from the magnificent fireworks display.
