VERO BEACH — Vero Beach Police and Indian River Fire Rescue responded to a person found dead on a boat at the City Marina.
The call came in around 2:30 p.m., according to Indian River County Public Information Spokesman Eric Flowers. The person was pronounced dead on the scene.
The boat was docked at the time, according to authorities. The person had been dead for several days, according to Vero Beach Police Capt. Kevin Martin.
No identity has been released pending notification of next of kin.
