Mary Barton, 85, of Sebastian, passed away on June 20, 2016, at the Sebastian River Medical Center.
She is survived by her daughters Kathy Kohles of Sebastian and Nancy (Edward) Zoder of Kapaa, Hawaii; son Jack (Chris) Barton of Sayville, N.Y., grandchildren Jason Barton, Krystal Kohles, Alexis Zoder, Bethany (Mike) Barton Multari, Ashley (Steve) Zoder-Heinrich and Deirdre Zoder; and her pet parrot Pogo.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Barton.
Barton was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and moved to Sebastian 30 years ago from Massapequa, Long Island, N.Y.
She was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, June 24, 206 at the Strunk Funeral Home with a service for her at 7 p.m.
Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements.
