Carol Erskine Flint, 91, of Vero Beach, passed away on June 19, 2016, at Grace Rehabilitation Center with her loving husband at her side.
In addition to her husband 58 years, William Flint, she is survived by her three children, Karen Fuller (Steve) of Dolores, Colo., William Flint III of Stuart and Ann Flint of Lady Lake, Fla.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and her sister, Nancy Hussey, of Long Island, N.Y.
Flint was born in East Orange, N.J., on Aug. 11, 1924, daughter of Howard and Agnes Erskine. She was a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, of South Hadley, Mass. She and her husband resided in Woodbridge, Conn., for more than 50 years before moving to Stuart and eventually Vero Beach.
She had a fondness for numbers and became treasurer of various charitable organizations. She was known as an outstanding cook and hostess to many gatherings with friends and family. She was an excellent tennis player and enjoyed golf in her later years. She also enjoyed traveling and visited many cities in the US and Europe. She was a member of the first Church of Christ in Woodbridge, and a member of the Community Church in Vero Beach.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Brennity of Vero Beach on Sunday, June 26 at 5:30 p.m., for friends and family.
