Arnold Williamson Jr., 92, of Vero Beach, passed away on June 18, 2016.
He is survived by his sons Robert (Bonnie) Willimason of Greenville, R.I., and Steve (Cynthia) Williamson of Rancho Bernardo, Calif.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Aileen, and his second wife Christine.
Williamson was born in Providence, R.I., to the late Arnold and Gilbertina Williamson. Folloing high school in Rhode Island, he received his undergrad degree from Providence College before serving as Liutenant in the US Navy during WWII. After the war, he enrolled at Boston College where he earned his law degree.
He served as an Assistant US Attorney, then became the Chief Attorney for the US Veterans Administration in Providence.
He was a member of the Vero Beach Country Club and the Cranberry Valley Country Club in Harwich, Mass. He enjoyed his life and retirement as an active golfer and gardener along with relaxing strolls on the beach.

Interment will be at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter, R.I.
