Vero Beach Police Department offers free radKIDS class June 27-July 1

VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Police Department is offering a free radKIDS class June 27 through July 1.

Through radKIDS training, children become empowered and learn to replace the fear, confusion, and panic of dangerous situations with confidence, personal safety skills, and self-esteem.

Classes for kids ages 5 to 7 will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Classes for ages 8 to 12 will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Students are required to attend all classes, and to wear sneakers or tennis shoes, pants, and a shirt every day of class. Flip flops, dresses and jewelry are not permitted.

The Vero Beach Police will hold the class at 1055 20th Street.
