Albert Anthony Nemeth, 72, of Vero Beach, passed away at home on June 2.
He is survived by his wife Carolynn; his son Christopher; his sister Joanna Charecky; “bro” Mike Charecky; his niece Kristen Scallon; and nephews John Charecky and Col. Michael Charecky II.
Nemeth was a wonderful father, husband and friend and a long-time resident of Vero Beach. Born in the Bronx, he served in the military, then after returning home was a dynamic businessman both in New York and in Florida. He was also a well-respected real estate broker for more than 25 years.
Many close friends also mourn his loss as there will never be one like him. A ready smile, a multitude of funny stories, a steady trustworthy ally, he was a generous, kind and loving man who, although he is now with the Lord, will be deeply missed by those left behind.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 p.m., Friday, June 10 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Afterwards friends and family are invited to gather at the Italian American Club, 1600 25th St, Vero Beach.
