Fellsmere cops probe pair of burglaries

FELLSMERE — Cash was stolen from a home and a generator was taken from a truck in two separate burglaries the Fellsmere Police Department is now investigating.

The residential burglary was reported Monday at 4:20 p.m. in the 80 block of N. Myrtle. Fellsmere police said the victim believes the burglary occurred between 11:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the home, according to investigators.

A few days earlier, on June 3, Fellsmere police responded to an auto burglary in the 100 block of N. Elm Street around 8:30 a.m.

The victim told investigators that the burglary happened between 9:40 p.m. June 2 and 6 a.m. June 3. A Dewalt 7000w generator was taken from the bed of the victim’s truck.
