Dennis Justin Truex, 69, of Sebastian, passed away on June 1, 2016.
He is survived by his wife Janet Truex of Sebastian; sons Dennis Truex, and Glenn Truex and his wife Karen both of Sebastian; daughters Denise Downs and husband Bobby of Sebastian, and Tara Miranda and her husband George of Vero Beach; mother Genevieve Truex Linder of Union Mills, N.C.; grandchildren Shawn, Ryan, Hanna, Glenn Jr., Coral, Savannah, George Jr.,;sisters Theresa Davis and her husband Ted of Nutley, N.J.; Eileen Wieczorek of Union Mills, N.C., and Jeannine Ducastel of Spindale, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his brother Glenn Truex and father Ellsworth “Jack” Truex.
Truex was born in Jersey City, N.J., and lived in Sebastian coming from New Jersey in 1975.
He was employed by Piper Aircraft for many years.
He attended St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian.
Strunk Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
A visitation will be held 6 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, FL. Memorial services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
