VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Police Department has identified and cleared a man sought for possible voyeurism at a Publix restroom.
The department announced that investigators were able to identify the man, find him and interview him. No charges will be filed and the case has been closed.
Vero police did not publicly identify the man.
The investigation stemmed from an incident earlier this month that occurred in the men’s room of the Miracle Mile Publix. A patron reported that a man used a cellphone to record him while in the bathroom.
