On his way to Herrin, Ill., for a concert performance Thursday, Vero Beach native and country star Jake Owen took a detour to an emergency room.
He shared a few details with fans through his Twitter feed, @jakeowen.
“I’ll make Herrin,” Owen tweeted. “No worries. Show must go on.”
Using the hashtag #iwreckedmybike, Owen updated fans that he received stitches and was back on the road to Herrin.
He shared a photo of the aftermath and tweeted, “After stitches… Sometimes in life, you fall. That’s when you get back up again, and walk it off.”
