William John Hanson, 84, of Vero Beach, passed away on May 18, 2016.
Hanson was a US Marine and art restorer.
He is survived by his son Mike Hanson (Elizabeth) and grandson, Michael.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jan Hanson.
Hanson was born in Attica, Mich., on April 28, 1932, before moving to Homestead, Fla.
He served in the US Marine Corps in Korea in 1951, wounded twice. He graduated from the University of Miami and John Herron Art School in Indianapolis. He owned and operated his workshop in Vero Beach for 20 years, restoring furniture and artwork.
His life will be celebrated Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Rennick Galleries at 15 Royal Palm Pointe, Vero Beach.
