INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The sole person involved in the fatal crash this morning has been identified.
The person killed in the crash was William Thomas Thompson, 42, of Vero Beach, according to Florida Highway Patrol. He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car.
A fatal car crash involving one vehicle had shut down 58th Avenue SW between 13th Street SW and 17th Street SW.
Thompson was found dead near the car that had crashed off the side of the road.
FHP is investigating.
