VERO BEACH — Talk about stepping lively!
They danced Saturday night away at the eighth annual Dancing with Vero’s Stars fundraiser at Riverside Theatre. The event – which benefits the Indian River Healthy Start Coalition – is always one of Vero’s most glamorous occasions, and this year’s was no exception.
The Mirror Ball Trophy went to Nicki Maslin, who cha-cha’d her way to victory with professional dance partner George Go. But the real winners were babies and pregnant moms, thanks to the $297,000-plus raised at the extravaganza.
