Jack Millard Mosteller, 91, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2016, at VNA Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Peggy; daughters Jackie (Jim) Mitts and Sandy (Mike) DuBose; six grandchildren: Jennifer Mitts, Tammy DuBose, Timmy (Karen) DuBose, Todd (Tonya) DuBose , Troy (Tiffany) DuBose, and Julia (Andy) LaFear; Nine great-grandchildren: Kylee, Taylor, Emily, Delaney, Trasin and Trevor DuBose, Joseph Governara, Caitlyn and Savannah LaFear; sister Dolly Young; brother Luther Mosteller; and many nieces and nephews.
Mosteller was born in Blair, W.Va., on July 3, 1924, and moved with his family to Vero Beach in 1959.
He worked for the City of Vero Beach for 32 years. He was a US Army veteran serving during WWII as a military policeman in Germany. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He always brought a smile to the face of anyone he met and will be dearly missed.
Per his request, there will be no services.
