Leonard R. Lott, 81, of Vero Beach, passed away on May 3, 2016, at the Indian River Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Laverne M. Lott of Vero Beach; sons Robin (Sandra) Lott of Port Saint Lucie and Larry (Jeanne) Payne of Okeechobee; sister Sue (Joe) Barocio of Lewisburg, Tenn.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Lott was born in Henderson, Tenn., and moved to Vero Beach in 1977 from Jackson, Tenn.
He had served in the US Army and was a retired letter carrier, having worked for the US Postal Office for 30 years.
He loved to play golf with a better round awaiting him tomorrow.
A memorial service celebrating his life will begin at 10 a.m., Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
