INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Andrew Rynberg is resigning from the Indian River County School District as of June 30.
Rynberg was with the district for three years, according to district Public Information Officer Flynn Fidgeon.
Rynberg competed for the school superintendent job about a year ago, which went to Mark Rendell.
His resignation letter states he recently finished his Ph.D. in educational leadership and wants to “expand what I will do and with whom I will do it with in the future.”
He did not return a request for comment.
Fidgeon said the position has not yet been filled.
