VERO BEACH — A Vero Beach man has stepped forward and claimed his $18 million Florida Lotto prize.
Reid Douglass opted to get the one-time lump-sum payment of $13.15 million. He bought the Florida Lotto Quick Pick ticket from the Ryanwood Plaza Publix, located at 2040 58th Ave., Vero Beach.
The winning numbers were announce April 16.
The grocery store received a bonus commission of $90,000 for selling the jackpot-winning lotto ticket.
