James A. Worman, 92, of Vero Beach, passed away on April 25, 2016.
He is survived by his wife Alice, son David Worman, daughter Patti Erneston and their spouses, six grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael.
Worman was born on Dec. 8, 1923, in Fort Wayne, Ind. He served in the United States Air Force and married his childhood sweetheart, Alice, on Oct. 21, 1944.
They moved to West Palm Beach in 1959 where Worman worked as Vice President of Burnup and Sims. He eventually bought Allstate Equipment where he enjoyed working until his retirement.
He Alice loved to travel and often took trips across the country in their motor home. Later in their lives they moved to Indian River Estates in Vero Beach where they made many special friendships.
Worman went to be with his Lord on April 25, 2016. He was a strong man who loved God, loved his wife, and loved his family well. He was a delight to be around and enjoyed making people laugh. He had a servant’s heart and was always finding projects and gifts to show people he loved and cared about them.
He left a legacy of love, integrity, hope, laughter, and kindness and our lives will forever be blessed by this man we love so dearly.
