James S. Groff, 77, of Vero Beach, passed away on April 16, 2016, at VNA Hospice House.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Betty J Groff and their three devoted children Jamesina Gragg, James S. Groff Jr., and Deborah Ann Hall; son-in-laws, Michael and Marshall; daughter-in-law Agata; and grandchildren Matthew and Mason.
Groff was born in Easton, Pa., and moved to Florida in 1970.
He was a proud veteran with a combined 33 years of military service. He served in the US Navy, Army and Army National Guard. He held the position of President for a plastic pipe manufacturing company. He was a member of the Sebastian Elks Lodge, American Legion, and Loyal Order of Moose.
A Celebration of Life along with Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard, and a Elks Memorial Service will be held at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming St., Sebastian, FL on April 29, 2016 at 1 p.m. Burial will be at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.
