United Way is accepting grant applications for County programs

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The United Way of Indian River County is now accepting grant applications for programs serving county residents and intending to produce measurable results that align with United Way goals in the areas of education, financial stability and health.

These grants will be funded by the United Way Community Impact Fund, established to invest in programs and services provided by high performing nonprofit organizations. As part of a continuing effort to advance the common good, United Way is focusing on the building blocks of a good quality of life – education, financial stability and health.

Current grants are open to any organization serving or looking to serve Indian River County with programs that can identify and track the outcomes and indicators included in the community goals set by United Way of Indian River County.

Agencies selected for funding will receive a one-year commitment from United Way and will be eligible for a multi-year funding agreement based on ability to show measurable program results.

Applications are available through Nate Bruckner, Director of Community Impact at United Way of Indian River County and must be received by June 1, 2016. Questions can be directed to nate.bruckner@unitedwayirc.org or (772) 567-8900. Applications are due by 4 p.m. on June 1, 2016.
