Harold W. Wilson, 95, of Vero Beach, passed away on April 21, 2016, at VNA Hospice House.
He is survived by his son Roderick N. Wilson, Sr. of Vero Beach; grandson Roderick N. Wilson, Jr. of Baltimore; and great-grandchildren Zoey, Maddox and Kalynn.
Wilson was born Sept. 9, 1920, in Virginia and moved to Vero Beach in 1982, coming from Baltimore, Md.
Prior to his retirement he worked for 42 years as a sheet metal mechanic for Westinghouse. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and enjoyed wood working.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach. A funeral service to celebrate his life will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home with Rev. James Sanderson of First United Methodist Church officiating.
