Robert Arthur Curtis, 58, Vero Beach

Robert Arthur Curtis, 58, a longtime resident of Vero Beach, passed away on April 13, 2016.

He was the beloved husband of Deborah for the past 30 years; loving father of Rita Radford (Bill), and Roman Nelson (Kim); adored grandfather of Paige, Lacey, and Emily Radford, and Alex, Roman, and Mark Nelson; dear brother of Terry, Angie, Gary, and the late Ron; and cherished son of the late Eunice McCullam.

Curtis was born in Georgia. He moved to Spanish Lakes in Fort Pierce four years ago from Vero Beach. He was a heavy equipment operator for Indian River County.

He loved playing games on his computer, working on computers, writing Christian songs, playing his guitar, and working around the yard. Most of all, he loved to spoil his beloved wife Deborah.

Curtis had been in the US Army and was stationed in Germany.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Calvary Chapel in Vero Beach.

Yates Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
