Donna L Parsons, 77, of Vero Beach and Point Pleasant, W.Va., passed away on April 6, 2016.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carl R. Parsons; two daughters and son-in-law, Dawn and Raymond Gandee, of Point Pleasant and Gwen Haffelt, of Huntington; two bonus sons and a bonus daughter, Richie (Suzi) Parsons, of Fort Pierce and Johnnie (Chris) Parsons, of Charlotte, N.C., and Purna “Cookie” Parsons, of Austin, Texas; and many grand and great-grandchildren.
Parsons was born Aug. 9, 1938 in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Hobart Dewees and Mary Emma (Cromley) Dewees.

A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Charles Moses and Pastor Steven Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Thursday at the funeral home.
