SEBASTIAN — A man shot and killed himself near the Sebastian Municipal Airport Monday morning.
The man was dropped off at a storage facility near Airport Drive West, according to Sebastian Police Cmdr. John Blackledge. He then lied down on the ground and shot himself.
Before he shot himself, he was dropped off by an unknown family member, according to police.
Authorities are working to notify next of kin and have not identified the deceased. If anyone has information about this incident, they are urged to call the Sebastian Police Department at (772) 589-5233.
