Jacki Lynne Cappelen Jenkins, 53, of Vero Beach, passed away on April 4, 2016, in Port St. Lucie.
She is survived by her husband Carey Jenkins; daughters Codi and Kelsi; granddaughter, Xander; mother Lois Cappelen; brother Chuck Cappelen, sisters, Peggi DiBenedetto (Joe DiBenedetto), Jane Cappelen and Patty Calahan (John Garone); step-mother Beth Cappelen, and an extended family of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father Alvin “Moon” Cappelen.
Cappelen graduated from Vero Beach Senior High School in 1980. Jacki was a Certified Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist.
She was born in Vero Beach on Aug. 3, 1962. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to many.
Services will be held at Strunk Funeral Home, Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Visitation starts at 1 o’clock in the afternoon.
