Jeanne Bolduc Parparian, 87, Vero Beach

Jeanne Bolduc Parparian, 87, of Vero Beach, passed away on April 4, 2016.

Named after Joan of Arc, Parparian lived up to the name as an intensely strong woman. She loved to work and she loved to be around people and she was loved by many.

As a young woman she quit school so she could be home to help her family as one of nine children. Later she went on to get her GED and then took some college classes.

Her and her husband Paul were lucky enough to travel and enjoyed going to Europe and took several cruises.

Parparian was an avid reader and often read a book a day. She loved to work with her hands and crocheted extremely delicate tablecloths that will be forever cherished. She moved on to the hobby of computers and was amazingly adept at it. She was self-taught but knew more than most and used her talents at several positions she held.

She set up a system for meals on wheels in Satellite Beach and shortly thereafter received a letter from Governor Lawton Chiles asking her to bring her talents to Tallahassee and work for him.

Moving from Connecticut to the Treasure Coast, she and her husband enjoyed the Florida weather with their and beloved dog Bellah. She was a very nurturing woman who comforted many.

Those who have met her and were loved by her will be forever changed to have known such a beautiful soul. She will be greatly missed but we will honor her memory in our hearts. She was truly loved.
