FELLSMERE — Doug Bournique will be the guest speaker at the Indian River Neighborhood Association luncheon on March 24, 12:30 p.m. at the Marsh Landing restaurant in Fellsmere.
Bournique is executive vice president of the Indian River Citrus League, and a governing board member of the Saint John’s River Water Management District. He has been recognized for his commitment and leadership in the protection of the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program. He was also appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture to the USDA Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee for Fruits and Vegetables.
The Association is excited to have Bournique share his insights on the future water needs and where that supply may be located. Bournique has much experience in this field and the information should be illuminating.
