Elbert Lewis Dollar, 81, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 11, 2016, with his wife Dorothy by his side.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, daughters Mary Lou and Elizabeth Anne, and brothers Charles, Maurice and Everett.
He was preceded in death by his parents Pauline and Elbert, brothers Richard and William, and a sister Jewel.
Dollar was born in Limestone County, Ala., on June 11, 1934. He attended the University of Alabama on a football scholarship and Sanford University in Birmingham, Ala. He had a career in sales and marketing that spanned the East Coast.
