Herbert G. Kalden, 89, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 20, 2016, at the Indian River Medical Center with his wife Fay at his bedside.
He is survived by his wife Falicitis B. Kalden of Vero Beach; daughter Monica S. Kostecka of Chicago, Ill.; a sister Martha Person; and three grandsons William, Gerard and Nicholas.
He was preceded in death by a son Bernard H. Kalden.
Kalden was born in Hamburg, Germany moved to Vero Beach 24 years ago from Chicago, Ill.
Prior to his retirement he had been a plastics engineer for Appleton Electric. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and the German Club in Vero Beach.

Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
