Peggy McNurlin, 83, of Sebastian, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2016, at the VNA Hospice House, surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her daughters Marsha Sherry and Julie Beam (Jim Nelson); five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Klipple (Nina), and Bill Klipple; one sister-in-law, Audrey McNurlin; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Donald “Mac” McNurlin, who passed only one month earlier. Also preceding her are two brothers and two sisters.
McNurlin was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on March 11, 1933 to John and Georgie Klipple. After retiring to Florida in 1983, she became active in the community, her church and serving as Officer in the GFWC Sebastian River Women’s Club.
She loved to read and travel but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a thoughtful and kind lady and a wonderful example of faith, hope and charity to all.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Sebastian United Methodist Church, 1029 Main St., Sebastian, FL, 32958.
